ASHLEY ADDAIR
For me, art-making is a means of learning through the creation of metaphor. I am interested in pattern and fabric as an investigation of culture and narrative, color as a vehicle for the exploration of nuance and perception, and material as a connection to history. With these elements I am cultivating a capacity to be aware of the sacred in daily chores, motherhood, family relationships, and seasonal rhythms.
